How to Check EPF Balance for Exempted Establishments?

Employees of exempted establishments or private trusts cannot view the EPF balance on the EPFO portal. In the case of an exempted establishment or private trust, the EPF contribution is transferred to the trusts managed by the company and not the EPF. Thus, only the trust managed by the company can give information about the PF balance of an employee. Employees can get the balance information by checking the salary slips, company's employee portal or raising a request to the HR department.

The Employee Provident Fund (EPF) serves as a significant income source for retirement. Having knowledge of your Universal Account Number (UAN) makes it convenient to access your EPF balance and withdraw funds when faced with an emergency.
